The biggest question of the patients at the time of having an appointment with the plastic surgeon is to know which size of breast implants to choose and what will be the size of the breasts with which they will be left after the surgery, in turn, size becomes one of the biggest causes of dissatisfaction in breast enhancement surgery, which should be prevented.

One of the myths that frequents consultations in breast surgery is the change of bra or bra size, because we have the mistaken perception that by increasing the size of the breast, the size of the bra also increases, that is, the corresponding size of the circumference of the thorax in inches. You choose 2 or 3 testers that you believe are the ones that approximate what you want.

With each one you try putting them above the bare breasts or using the bra, inside and outside of it.

Observe both front and profile, then look at your complete silhouette, the set with your face, hair and body to determine if it really is the right size for you.

Finally, try on the shirt or blouse you wear that day.

Now, breast implants are made of various materials such as silicone or saline solution, the most commonly used are silicone. They can be found of different sizes, small implants of 180 cubic centimeters (cc) as other larger ones up to 700 cc, among them they increase in small quantities that produce little perceptible changes to the human eye, that is, between a 375 implant cc versus one of 400 cc is not going to appreciate much difference, contrary to the notoriety that a comparison between implants of 350 cc and 430 cc, because there is 80 cc of difference.
